Mission Statement

The mission of Father Bill's & MainSpring is to help homeless people obtain a home by giving temporary shelter and food, finding safe and affordable housing, and providing permanent housing with supportive services. Father Bill's & MainSpring helps people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to achieve self-sufficiency.

GUIDING Principles:

Father Bill's & MainSpring (FBMS) will: 
 

• Seek to be a supportive and compassionate presence for our neighbors who are homeless
• Provide services in a way that enables guests and residents to maintain their dignity and independence
• Maintain the highest level of professionalism in the delivery of services by both staff and volunteers
• Encourage guests and residents to strive toward self-sufficiency
• Provide equal access to housing and services for all eligible guests and residents without discrimination in any form
• Create partnerships with other non-profit organizations, businesses and government agencies to serve the needs of those struggling with homelessness
• Participate actively in advocacy and public policy discussions on issues of housing and homelessness
