Another Way To Volunteer

Would you consider organizing a donation drive in your community?

FBMS appreciates donations of basic hygiene items or linens for our guests and housing participants. Please check our Family Shelters wish lists, Individual Shelters wish lists and Scatter Sites Apartment wish list for current needs. If you are planning to coordinate a drive in your community, please let us know in advance so we can assist you.

If you have organized a particularly successful drive and have many items to donate, please contact us in advance of the drop off so we can better assist you with your donation. The best times to drop off donations at our shelters are outside of in-take hours and meal times, usually between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., or between 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. You must complete an in-kind form at the time of drop off so that we may properly acknowledge your efforts.
